'PSI POWER' Psionicists may find and equip limited items that enhance their psionic abilities. The psionic sphere they create is one such item, and there are more to find around the realms. These "psi enhance" items each share the property of sharpening the psionicist's focus, improving their psi power. Higher psi power improves their spells by directly increasing their damage, and also causes the psionic sphere to reach capacity and discharge more quickly. More psi power also grants the psionicist more room to hyperfocus without suffering ill effects. Note that psi power is not automatically replenished when the psionicists concentration is severely disturbed. The exhilaration of aggressive fighting prevents this completely except while meditating. It is known that some psionicists have developed an insatiable thirst for spice to maintain their reserves.
